Chatham Business Association and The Law Project are teaming up to provide a one day legal clinic which will focus on the basic legal steps an entrepreneur needs to think about to start and/or maintain a business in Illinois, such as protecting your ideas, legal liabilities, and employee rights. It will also discuss leasing space, contracts, and conducting day-to-day operations.
 

Participants will have an opportunity for 20-minute individual consultations with an attorney after the one hour presentation.

Pre-registration for this event is required by August 30, 2013.

9:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.  – Contract Negotiation Issues

9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. – Examining Different Legal Structures

10:00 a.m.- 10:20 p.m. - Open Q&A

10:20 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  – 20 minute, one on one, individual Q &A sessions for clinic participants with attorneys
