Hongxia (Mary) Ma, Illinois SBDC International Trade Center Governors State University
"How to Sell your products to a Global Market"

Mary Ma serves as the Director of the new Illinois International Trade Center at Governors State University since April 2011. She is responsible for providing targeted, high-impact services for export companies, including consulting & training, market research, and technical assistance in trading, logistics & financing.
Many businesses think they are too small to compete in the world market. In fact, 97% of all exporters are small businesses. While 96% of the world’s customers reside outside of the U.S., most U.S. companies never think of foreign markets and do not realize that foreign sales opportunities are now well within reach. The Illinois International Trade Center, which is funded by the U.S. SBA, IL DCEO and Governors State University, can be your strong partner by providing targeted research, training workshops, an export financing program, etc. Through this presentation, you will be provided with the road maps of exporting and learn how to find buyers overseas.
