Hope your 2014 is off to a great start!

 

Just checking to see if you have any folks in your programs, who might want to attend our workshop on January 23rd and are interested in employment or small biz contracting opportunities with the Utilities as a Chicago-based Trade Allies into the program – trade allies are contractors that provide the energy efficiency consultations and improvements on behalf of the utilities

 

CBA is participating in a small business energy efficiency campaign with the City and  the utilities per the attached flier. 
 
It would be a good opportunity for you to increase your employment numbers and we can give you an update on this initiative at our upcoming campaign launch. The goal of this initiative is twofold:
· Increase neighborhood business participation in the Small Business Energy Savings Program
· Recruit new Chicago base trade allies (contractors to do the energy efficient work for small businesses.
A representative from Franklin Energy, ComEd and Peoples Gas  will be on hand to provide more details.  We are offering
· $500 cash prize drawing for all businesses that participate in a free energy consultation; and CBA is recruiting the clients on behalf of the program as well so if you know of any business who might want to benefit, please let us know.
