Event Description:
The Scouting Network is an affiliate of Chicago Area Project and since 1975 has offered Saturday sports, games, arts and crafts, cultural enrichment, leadership development, informal educational, prevention programming and field trips for children ages 5 through 10.
Activities offered serve as a Safe Haven on Saturdays during the school-year and are provided to stimulate the physical, social and mental growth of young people in grades Kindergarten thru 5th. A parent or guardian must attend the enrollment session scheduled on Saturday September 7, 14, or 21 at 1pm. at Maryland Church, 8058 South Maryland in the Lower Auditorium where the program occurs on Saturdays from 1:30p-3pm.
Annual Enrollment fee is 5.00 per child and space is limited to 50 participants.
