John Comer SMB Director, City and North

John Comer is a native Chicagoan born and raised on the Southside. A product of Chicago Public School system.  John went on attend college and graduated from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, where he earned bachelor’ and master’s degrees in Business Administration. 
 
He has over 20 years in Management and Sales all Business to Business. John first joined Comcast Business Services in 2007 as a Business Account Executive.  Since then, he was promoted to SMB Sales Manager in 2008 and Senior SMB Sales Manager 2011.  As of 2013, John has served as the Region’s Sales Effectiveness Manager for Business Services.  In this most recent role, he helped drive the region’s strategic initiatives and personal development programs.
 
He is now the Sales Director at Comcast Business Services for the City, Northern Suburbs and Rockford where his team is focused on working with small to medium businesses consulting with them on how to improve their productivity and efficiency to increase their bottom-line with Comcast wide array of products.
 

His community involvement ranges from coaching little baseball and football. He sat on the Board of the Boys and Girls club of Chicago. He also served as the President of the HOA in his Subdivision and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
