Nicholas Delgado founded Dignitas to provide clients with personalized, high quality and independent advice. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services and wealth advisory industry, Nick has become a go-to advisor for start-up and high growth entrepreneurs and seasoned executives.  In his role at Dignitas, Mr. Delgado regularly works with entrepreneurs and business executives on business planning and growth issues as a strategic advisor, coach and connector. Mr. Delgado is a regular speaker on topics such as business startups, financial strategy, capital advisory, succession planning and business acquisitions for closely held businesses.

"Metra's commitment to the business community"

Metra’s Interim Chief Executive Officer has worked for the railroad industry for 40 years. Formerly Deputy Executive Director/COO, he provided executive direction and guidance to the Chief Officers of Engineering, Transportation and Mechanical as well as Safety, Operations Training and Certification and Regulatory Compliance. He also provided executive oversight and direction to Purchase of Service Agreement contract carriers (BNSF and Union Pacific) to ensure consistency with Metra’s standards and practices. As Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Orseno now provides direction and oversight to all areas of Metra's Administrative and Operating program.


Janice R. Thomas has been the Director of the Office of Business Diversity & Civil Rights since December 2010.
 
In her current role she manages the daily operations of Metra’s Office of Business Diversity & Civil Rights, including the preparation, training and outreach for the DBE and Title VI Programs in accordance with Federal Guidelines, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable executive orders, laws and regulations.  She also strives to support the executive leadership to achieve Metra’s goal of inclusion throughout the organization. 


Monthly Membership Meeting held by Chatham Business Association, Small Business Development Inc. are held to inform current members and prospective members about issues and activities going on in Chatham and the City of Chicago.  You do not need to be a member to attend.  Breakfast is provided for a small fee.
